As the Head of Engineering at OneLab, I am responsible for spearheading the company's transformation into a SaaS-based business. This includes defining and executing a long-term strategy for our technology stack, as well as identifying and implementing the necessary tools and processes to support our growth.

One of my key responsibilities is building and scaling the engineering team. This includes recruiting and hiring top talent, as well as developing and facilitating a top tier work environment for our engineers, where they continue to grow, to ensure that our team is equipped with the skills and knowledge they need to succeed.

I am also hands-on with the development of our three health-related applications, which are all a core component of our SaaS offering. This includes working closely with cross-functional teams to define the product roadmap, as well as making technical choices and implementing best practices to ensure the application is built to the highest standards. I also write code daily, using Node.js, React and svelte.

As the Head of Engineering, I am also responsible for the overall performance of the engineering team. This includes setting and monitoring performance metrics, providing feedback and coaching to individual team members, and creating an environment that fosters growth and development.

Ultimately, my goal is to ensure that OneLab has the technology, team, and processes in place to drive our growth and success as a SaaS company.
